A FULL REMODEL & FURNISHING PROJECT IN WINDERMERE
Nestled among the trees of Seattle’s Windermere neighborhood, this home has a history that rivals its Lake Washington views. It was built by architect Raymond H. Peck, famed for designing the iconic Dick’s Drive-In burger stands. The goal of this midcentury modern remodel was to restore a fading Pacific Northwest gem back to its former glory. We restored as much of the original charm as possible — the terrazzo floors with brass inlay, the expansive windows, and the stone walls — while updating a few key areas to improve the functionality and flow. The result is an elevated mid-century modern design that celebrates the home’s history, while evolving it for the next 70 years.
